Serving Connecticut & the Northeast
Your spindle, rebuilt to spec — with proof at every step.
Full photo documentation from arrival to ship, including vibration analysis data. Built to get your CNC back into production fast.
The rebuild process
Every spindle moves through the same checkpoints, photographed at each stage. Machining is included only when the inspection calls for it.
- 1
Inspect
Every spindle is examined on arrival and photographed before any work begins, so you have a clear record of its condition.
- 2
Disassemble
Components are removed and catalogued in sequence. Each part is documented before it comes off the shaft.
- 3
Replace parts
Bearings, preload collars, and O-rings are replaced with components that meet or exceed OEM spec.
- 4Optional
Machining
If the rebuild calls for it — taper regrinding, sleeve work, or shaft repair — machining is performed in-house before reassembly.
- 5
Assembly
The spindle is rebuilt in a dedicated, isolated workspace kept separate from the shop floor to limit contamination.
- 6
Test & ship
Final inspection, vibration analysis, and performance testing confirm the spindle meets spec before it's packaged and shipped back.
Why HCT
HCT is a new shop, built around doing the work right from day one. I'm hands-on in every rebuild alongside experienced contract technicians, working out of a dedicated assembly space kept separate from the shop floor to limit contamination during reassembly.
What you get instead of decades of history is full transparency: a documented, photographed record of exactly what happened to your spindle, and a technician who's personally involved in every job.
Our documentation standard
Every rebuild includes:
- Arrival condition photos
- Disassembly documentation
- Inspection findings and measurements
- Vibration analysis data
- Reassembly photos
- Final packaging confirmation
